Food was ok. Ordered grilled chicken caesar and was told they had NO GRILLED CHICKEN. A lunch place that runs out of grilled chicken.....enough said. Had to go with chef salad, so much for avoiding nitrates and sodium

This Deli has the best Chicken Salad Wraps I have ever tasted. They have a large variety of Gelato for your craver flavor fix. Everything on the Nellie's Deli menu is superb. It's well worth the wait in line. This is a hungry crowd pleaser.

Love this place, staff is friendly and very clean environment. It was my first time here, I got lunch and was able to take home dinner for later in the deli section. Will be back for sure!

The best bagels! As good as the finest in NYC. A real find in FL. I cannot believe what is passed off as a ny bagel in FL. Everything we have tried is Garbage. Nellie's also has bialys on Saturday.

Try their cream or mushroom soup and good old American grilled cheese sandwiches and 4👍

We had an amazing experience working with MaryKay and Nellie's Catering Services. They helped us plan our event and menu for a very reasonable fee. The staff was wonderful and attentive and the food was delicious. I will definitely work with them again and highly recommend their catering services for any event. Thanks, Nellie's!

Used to love going to this deli on Weber St With my daughter. Went there there the other day, very disappointedThe potato and pasta salad tasted as they were not homemade. They used to have the best.homemade salads. I will make the drive to Mortons.

This is our 'must-visit' place for breakfast whenever we visit Sarasota. It's relatively inexpensive and the breakfast options, albeit simple, are perfect and delicious. The bagels are probable the best I've had anywhere. The staff is super friendly too.

the best Jewish food i have had since leaving philly. had a hot pastrami sandwich, delicious. took some take out home. matzo ball soup was great, chopped liver was incredible as was white fish salad. the staff behind counter was a little rude. other than that I would say that it was a great experience. i definitely will go back.

We came on a day trip with a group of 19 people to the deli. Service was friendly, amazingingly fast and efficient. They had many great options to choose from. Food was fresh, portions were large, prices were very reasonable. They even did our tax exempt employee's bills without a hitch (unlike many other places). I highly recommend this for a large group or a lunch out with a few friends!

A wrap and a sandwich at lunch today came with so much dressing that the second half of the sandwiches fell apart in a soupy mess. Not the first time. Gave new meaning to "soup and a sandwich." Friendly staff, good service, clean and convenient brings up my rating, but will go elsewhere.

Great fresh sub sandwich and all green serving items. Freshest ingredients are a great addition to the plate and the staff is absolutely fantastic and the entire meal is a good time. It's a delicious deli and sandwich shop that's been a great experience for me and the entire family for many years. This is a new location as the last location was a bit crowded. They outgrew the old one and this is an open atmosphere hoagie shop with a wide range of meats cheese and vegetables. Many vegan foods are available here too. And even the soft drinks are very fresh and the bread is soft and delicious. Very busy at peak lunch hours. Management is not so friendly but you likely won't need them. Clean store. Not for those who want a private setting. Very open... Almost communal in its way of seat arrangement.

Friendly quick service. Delicious soups and sandwiches. Housemade bagels! Try the Nova Platter for a light breakfast or Turkey California for lunch!

Staff behind counter was snappy and rude, seemed like they couldn't care less. I ordered the daily special. It was awful. Instead of Italian dressing it had a ginger like dressing. It was a chicken wrap and when I unwrapped it, there were 2 chicken pieces that were about 2 inches long and about 1/4 inch thin, no one else really liked anything that was ordered. Everyone said, 'its ok'

Always good. Been around for a long time here in Sarasota.. for lunch sandwiches soups salads. They also have take-home dinners that you can heat up and eatand offer reasonably priced catering that's really good.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful it was to work with this team. Kathy and Ashlee helped me with menu and logistics planning and were really accommodating of my budget and were ready to help me out in any way they could and to top it off, they have whole room of decor I could use at no extra cost. We ended up having to cancel our event, but they were so wonderful through out the process that I had to leave a review. I knew of them from being a bridesmaid in my friends wedding and the food & staff were equally wonderful and they arrived on time, dressed nicely and ready to help with whatever we needed. Between the two experiences, they are a go-to for my next event!

Great place for a New York style deli sandwiches! Ordered 2 chicken salad sandwiches and a pastrami on the.they practice social distancing and .most customers wore a mask. Very friendly staff

Nellie's Catering is who we used to cater our daughter's wedding on Dec 22, 2018. We also used their day of coordinator service and bartending as well. They did a wonderful job from start to finish. Brie Gibson worked with us tirelessly with planning the menu and the changes, coordinating with the venue and the other vendors and did a wonderful job of running the reception. We are still receiving compliments on their service and food from our friends and family members. Kathy Taylor did a great job of coordinating everything with the rehearsal and the wedding. Because of issues at the venue on the day of the rehearsal the venue wanted to postpone the wedding for another day. Had Kathy not stepped in to take control of the situation our daughter's day might have been ruined. I can't say enough good things about them. They are great to work with, the food is delicious and you will not be disappointed. I am recommending them everyone I know.

This is a well done deli! They have been serving the area for many years and they continue to shine as they serve to community. Staff and food is great!

Soup wasn't hot.. found hair in macaroni salad and next day three of four people didn't feel well after eating there. Not a good experience.

Brie was not only pleasant and quite efficient, but she added to the fun at our party. Everyone was pleased with the food, especially the tenderloin. I highly recommend Brie for her catering and bar tending skills.

Good place for sandwiches. I love the turkey Kirby. That speciality mustard that they have on it makes the hole thing.

Friendly service. Breakfasts (bagels, eggs, fruit and yogurt) and lunches (sandwiches, soups, salads) "made with love". Plenty of seating. Mostly an older customer base, but loyal and local. And they have WiFi.

Glad to have some healthy vegetarian choices!

We can't thank Fredda, Craig, Ashlee, Kathy and the entire Nellie's team for making our day so perfect. The day ran exactly as planned, Nellie's helps with more than just delicious food. The catering team helps with everything from the timeline, to rentals and decor, to seating arrangements, exceptional servers and bartenders, and making the day flow exactly as planned. The food was delicious, we got so many compliments and even had people asking for seconds, Craig was able to work with us on creating a custom menu for a very picky crowd. Thank you Nellie's for making our day exactly what we wanted!

Cute place. Order pastrami & corned beef on rye with swiss cheese and spicy mustard on the side, hot. Got pastrami & corned beef on pumpernickel with swiss cheese & spicy mustard on the sandwich, meat hot, cheese melted, bread cold & fresh with a pickle. It was ok. I'd rather go to Jason's. But it was ok.

Nice place to have breakfast and lunch. Vegan option available.
